“老婆”与“老公”这两个称谓,向来秤不离砣,一个“老”字便泄露了两人之间“相濡以沫、恩爱长久”的愿望。现代年轻人通常会认为这种称谓来自台湾偶像剧,殊不知在我国民间,这样的称呼已存在至少一千多年了。不过最初的“老婆”并不是指妻子,多是老年妇人的自称,也用来称丫头或年老的女仆。到唐代才有文人用此来称呼自己的妻子。直到今天,“老婆”也不一定就指妻子,因为在陕西关中人口中的“老婆”仍是曾祖母,
