白云鄂博矿石中含有较多的氟、钾、钠等元素,因此矿石的软熔温度低,炉渣易熔易凝,碱金属在高炉中循环富集。包钢高炉投产20多年来,大约有70％的时间里都是带瘤作业,致使生产指标长期落后。1980年开展炉瘤攻关以后,采取了筛除烧结矿中的粉末,贯彻“稳定顺行”的操作方针,用硅石作熔剂,降低炉渣碱度,加强排碱措施,使高炉结瘤情况有了根本性的好转,高炉产量和焦比逐年改善。
