山西省昔阳县已经有四十五个村根据各村具体情况编出农民“记工识字课本”。农民们学习这种课本十天到二十天后,一般都认识五十到一百三十个字,并且会写会讲。这些课本是在青年团昔阳县委员会和昔阳县文教局的帮助下,并且参照昔阳县下思乐村的“记工识字课本”编成的。课本的内容和生字都同当地的生产活动和农民日常生活等方面有紧密的联系,文字也通俗易懂。学员
There are already 45 villages in Xiyang County of Shanxi Province who compile the peasants’ “Literary Literacy Textbook” according to the specific conditions of each village. After ten days to twenty days of learning this kind of textbooks, the peasants generally know fifty to one hundred and thirty words and can write and speak. These textbooks were compiled with the help of the Xiyang County Committee of the Youth League and the Xiyang County Culture and Education Bureau, and with reference to “Literary Literacy Textbook” written by Xilian Village, Xiyang County. Textbook content and words are with local production activities and farmers daily life and other aspects are closely linked, the text is easy to understand. Students
