阿勒泰是新疆最北部的一座城市,如同镶嵌在阿尔泰山南麓上的一颗明珠。这座小小的山城只有5万人口,一条克兰河纵贯城区,淡绿色的雪山融水把城市衬托得干净整齐。这里风清月朗,空气澄冽,景色宜人,民风朴厚。阿勒泰人在描述自己家园时表现得幽默而豁达,他们用变调的方言说这里“七十一条街,九十一条路”,用汉字校正了发音写出来的却是:“其实一条街,就是一条路”。市区里总共有100台出租车,全都是天津夏利,花5元钱可以随便在市区里跑。阿勒泰市虽小,但所辖地域的面积却比浙江省还大。
