This paper studies three-dimensional UWB wireless sensor networks with n static nodes randomly distributed on the unit sphere. Using Vapnik-Chervonenkis theorem and Voroni checkerboard to cover the sensing area, it is deduced that a node transmits more data packets with R bits The upper and lower bounds of the energy consumption when the hop approach arrives at the convergence node have been studied.The research shows that the upper and lower bounds of the energy consumption are inversely proportional to the node density n of the network.Therefore, it is more desirable to have a large-scale dense ultra-wideband wireless sensor network.
