目的研究秋茄枝乙醇提取物(EEK)对2型糖尿病(T2DM)大鼠血糖和血脂的影响。方法以高脂饲料喂养联合链脲佐菌素(STZ)制备2型糖尿病大鼠模型。EEK低、中、高剂量组(0.25,1,2 g.kg-1)给药4周后,测定空腹血糖(FBG)、总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)、游离脂肪酸(FFA)和空腹胰岛素(FINS)。结果 EEK未能影响T2DM大鼠体重,但可降低FINS、FBG、TC、TG、FFA和LDL-C,同时升高HDL-C。结论 EEK能够通过减轻胰岛素抵抗,增加机体对胰岛素的敏感性,从而降低血糖和改善血脂异常。
Objective To study the effects of ethanol extract of candelilla (EEK) on blood glucose and blood lipid in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) rats. Methods Type 2 diabetic rat model was induced by feeding high-fat diet combined with streptozotocin (STZ). After four weeks of administration of EEK low, medium and high dose groups (0.25,1,2 g.kg-1), fasting blood glucose (FBG), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein Cholesterol (LDL-C), High Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol (HDL-C), Free Fatty Acid (FFA) and Fasting Insulin (FINS). Results EEK failed to affect the body weight of T2DM rats, but decreased FINS, FBG, TC, TG, FFA and LDL-C and increased HDL-C at the same time. Conclusion EEK can reduce blood glucose and improve dyslipidemia by reducing insulin resistance and increasing body’s sensitivity to insulin.
