稀土农用研究国外早在三十年代就已开始。六十年代,罗马尼亚、保加利亚、日本等国对这一问题继续进行了探讨,发现稀土元素对不同作物的生长发育、生理代谢有明显的影响。我国稀土农用研究始于1972年,虽起步较晚,但进展很快。近年来许多地区在不同作物上施用稀土取得了明显的增产效果,显示了稀土在调节作物生长方面具有某种特殊的作用,为作物增产和改进作物品质开辟了新的途径。
Rare earth agricultural research abroad as early as the thirties has already begun. Sixty time, Romania, Bulgaria, Japan and other countries continued to discuss this issue and found that rare earth elements have a significant impact on the growth and physiological metabolism of different crops. Rare earth agricultural research in China began in 1972, although started late, but progress is fast. In recent years, the application of rare earths to different crops in many areas has achieved remarkable yield increase effect. It shows that rare earth has a special role in regulating crop growth and opens up new avenues for increasing crop yield and improving crop quality.
