Sulfur is a harmful element in steel. With the development of the factory and the improvement of material quality requirements, accurate determination of low sulfur is required. This method uses HV-1 1 high-speed automatic carbon determination sulfur analyzer conducted a series of analytical tests. The test proves that the method can meet the requirement of the determination accuracy of the low sulfur (especially ws0. 01%) in the steel and overcome the deficiency of the requirement of the instrument for the determination of the low sulfur in the range of the normal analysis.
