2005年以来,广西与台湾有关单位共举办了11届桂台经贸文化交流合作系列活动,成果丰硕,一大批重要合作项目落地开花,台资连续多年成为自治区利用境外资金的主要来源之一,桂台进出口贸易也成为广西外贸的重要组成部分。台资企业对广西的电子信息、汽车配件、建筑材料、食品加工、旅游观光、现代农业等产业转型升级发展起到重要作用。随着“一带一路”、中国一东盟自贸区升级版建设的加快,广西加速开放进程,成为中国大陆面向东盟开放的
Since 2005, Guangxi and Taiwan authorities held a total of 11 series of economic, cultural, trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation between Guangxi and Taiwan, with fruitful results. A large number of important cooperation projects have begun to flourish. For many years, Taiwan’s capital has become one of the major sources of funds used by the autonomous regions. Export trade has also become an important part of Guangxi’s foreign trade. Taiwan-funded enterprises play an important role in the transformation and upgrading of Guangxi’s electronic information, auto parts, building materials, food processing, tourism and sightseeing, and modern agriculture. With the “Belt and Road Initiative,” and the acceleration of the construction of an upgraded version of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, Guangxi has accelerated its opening up process and has become China’s open door to ASEAN
