According to the statistics provided by the National Bureau of Statistics of China, among the 187 large and medium-sized cities in China, the three major cities of Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou rank among the best in terms of social and economic development. This survey includes the economic, scientific, cultural, demographic, labor, housing, medical, service and infrastructure aspects of each city.
