毛白杨(Populus tomentosa Carr.)栽培历史悠久,分布广泛,而且系杂种起源,后代分离现象严重,在长期系统发育过程中,产生了很大的变异。如在树冠、树干、分枝习性、树皮、叶形、花、果实及物候期等方面表现出不同的特点,形成了多种不同的形态类型。这些变异在一定条件下表现高度的稳定性,多数在无性繁殖时可表现出来,从而为选择育种提供了物质基础。速生性选育是当前毛白杨遗传改良的主要目标。材积生长属数量性状,受环境因子的影响很大,不便选择。如何通过数量性状与质量性状的相关,将难以选择的数量性状转变为易于选择的质量性状,将很大程度上加速选种进程。本文分析了毛白杨落叶期与速生性之间的关系,认为毛白杨落叶期可作为速生性相关选择的指标之一。
Populus tomentosa Carr. Has been cultivated for a long time and widely distributed. It is also the origin of hybrids and the separation of offspring is serious. In the process of long-term phylogeny, great variation has taken place. Such as the canopy, tree trunks, branch habits, bark, leaf shape, flowers, fruit and phenophase, etc. showed different characteristics, forming a variety of different morphological types. Under certain conditions, these variations show a high degree of stability, most of which can be manifested in asexual reproduction, thus providing the material basis for selection breeding. Rapid breeding is the main goal of genetic improvement of Populus tomentosa. Volume growth is a quantitative trait, influenced by environmental factors, inconvenient choice. How to speed up the process of seed selection by transforming the quantitative trait that is difficult to choose into an easy-to-choose quality trait through the correlation between quantitative traits and quality traits. In this paper, we analyzed the relationship between the deciduous period and fast-growing of Populus tomentosa and suggested that the deciduous period of Populus tomentosa could be used as one of the indicators for the related selection of fast-growing.
