赛季过半之后,黄蜂悄然在西部登顶,环视群雄,在西南赛季,在战火弥漫的西部联盟,黄蜂队异军突起成为了西部半程冠军。黄蜂队这几年饱受伤病困扰,一直处在一个颠沛流离的状态,在上个赛季以四连胜不败开局之后,依然因伤落得个惨淡收场。作为加入联盟刚好20年整的黄蜂队来说,不知道是不是开始的路太顺了,才让他们在后来的日子变得举步维艰,苦难重重。佩贾、韦斯特、钱德勒、保罗……这些人在上个赛季统统因伤缺阵过大部分的比赛。当这个赛季所有人都强势回归之后,他们再次以四连胜开局。人有三衰六旺,事情往往都是物极必反,否极泰来,对于饱受天灾人祸的黄蜂队来说,他们从来都没有低过头。赛季过半之后,西部第一只是天道酬勤的必然结果。
