学堂乐歌从日本、欧美借来火种,在戊戌变法运动影响下生成,这一新生事物结合了外来音乐与本民族的传统文化。它之所以能在激烈动荡的年代里孕育并发展,成为开启中国近现代音乐的钥匙,正是因为它适应了清末中国的时代特征与美学思想。文章从学堂乐歌时期的歌曲创作入手进行分析,力图揭示学堂乐歌与日欧音乐的关系,探讨学堂乐歌在中国音乐史上的价值。
School music from Japan, Europe and the United States borrowed fire, under the influence of the Reform Movement of 1898, this new thing combines foreign music and the traditional culture of this nation. The reason why it can be nurtured and developed in the period of intense turbulence has become the key to the opening of modern Chinese music precisely because it has adapted to the characteristics of the times and aesthetic thoughts of China in the late Qing Dynasty. This article analyzes the song creation from the school song period, trying to reveal the relationship between the school song and Japan-Europe music, and discusses the value of school song in the history of Chinese music.
