我过去对于墨的收藏是相当有兴趣的.一则由于它不独具有实用价值.而且还具有艺术性.既体现了传统木刻的艺术.也体现了造型方面的艺术。如一些制墨家所制.不独在造型方面异彩纷呈.并且烟质细润.为书写者增加不少兴趣。其次是一些读书人甚或达官名宦.都各自有自用墨.颇具历史性。除了文人墨.还有一类很重要的品种.就是清代宫廷制造的御墨和再和墨。由于历史原因.很多御墨都流传在海内外收藏家手中.罕为一见。
