在沂蒙山区的苍山县兴明乡绽放着一枝绚丽的民间艺术之花,这就是小郭村的泥玩具。小郭泥玩具富有浓郁的乡土气息,深深地为当地群众所喜爱。每逢新春佳节,当地农民总要买些泥玩具和年画,美化居家环境,陈列玩赏,增加节日气氛和生活乐趣。 小郭村的泥玩具,相传起源于清咸丰年间,至今已有一百三十多年历史,是本村78岁的老泥玩艺人李宪志的祖父从天津学来的。开始村里只有五六户人家学着做,后来几乎遍及全村。在旧社会,泥玩艺人都是穷人家为养家糊门,在农忙时就利用本地产的黄泥,经多次踩砸,泥模成型,晾干烘烧,到冬闲春节期间,就涂粉着色制成成品,在本地集市上出售。枣庄、临沂、徐州、新沂、连云港等地的客商都来贩卖,几乎传遍鲁南苏北,有的为多换些钱,还远到天津、南京、丹阳、开封、洛阳等地销售。
