改革开放以来,我国的成人教育蓬勃发展,遍地开花,成效极大,但也存在一些隐忧或不足。一方面,成人教育使千百万在职职工获得了重新学习的机会,提高了我国职工队伍的整体素质,造就了千百万文化大军。在建设社会主义精神文明过程中,大办成人教育,无疑具有重大的现实意义。另一方面,一部分函授质量不高,函授方式、教材内容、考试方式等方面存在各种问题,有些人参加函授学习只是为了弄张文凭,学习积极性不高,
