陆善镇教授1939年11月生于浙江省温州市鹿城区。现任北京师范大学校务委员会副主任,数学科学学院教授。1961年7月毕业于华东师范大学,同年9月起在北京师范大学数学系任教。1980年至1982年,赴美国华盛顿大学(St.Louis)作访问学者,并被聘为该校数学系教授。1983年5月被北京师范大学越级由讲师晋升为教授。1984年1月经国务院学位委员会批准担任博士生导师。1992年至1994年,任北京师范大学数学与数学教育研究所所长。1995年至1999年,经全校民主推选后,陆善镇教授由国务院任命为北京师范大学校长。2012年9月,应温州市政府的邀请,他受聘担任温州肯恩大学(中美合作大学)校长。陆善镇教授曾任第四届国务院学位委员会委员,第五届国务院学位委员会学科评议组成员,第七、八届全国政协委员,第九、十届全国人大代表兼全国
Professor Lu Shanzhen Born in November 1939 in Lucheng District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Incumbent Beijing Normal University, vice chairman of the School Board, Professor of Mathematical Sciences. July 1961 graduated from East China Normal University, the same year in September from Beijing Normal University Mathematics Department. From 1980 to 1982, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Washington, St. Louis, and was hired as a professor of mathematics at the university. 1983 May by Beijing Normal University leapfrog promotion from a lecturer to professor. 1984 January by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee approved doctoral tutor. From 1992 to 1994, he was the director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematics Education at Beijing Normal University. From 1995 to 1999, after the entire school was democratically elected, Professor Lu Shanzhen was appointed by the State Council as the president of Beijing Normal University. In September 2012, at the invitation of the Wenzhou municipal government, he was hired as the president of Wenzhou Kean University (Sino-American Cooperative University). Professor Lu Shanzhen served on the Fourth Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, member of the Fifth Academic Degrees Committee of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, member of the Seventh and Eighth CPPCC National Committee, delegate of the Ninth and Tenth National People’s Congress
