词汇是语言的建筑材料,是理解和表达语言的基础。词汇量的大小直接影响英语听、说、读、写能力的发展,学生只有具备了足够的词汇量,才能读懂和听懂,并为说和写奠定基础。可见词汇学习在大学英语教学中的重要作用是不言而喻的,然而学生词汇的积累又是大学英语教学所面临的困境之一。本文根据教学实践探讨了词汇教学的方法及从中所获得的教学启示。
Vocabulary is the language of building materials, is to understand and express the language foundation. The size of the vocabulary directly affects the development of English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Only when students have enough vocabulary can they understand and understand, and lay a solid foundation for speaking and writing. It can be seen that the important role of vocabulary learning in college English teaching is self-evident. However, the accumulation of student vocabulary is one of the difficulties that college English teaching faces. Based on the teaching practice, this article explores the methods of vocabulary teaching and the teaching enlightenment gained from it.
