目的预防地中海贫血患儿的出生,减少出生缺陷。方法基因诊断采用多聚酶链反应(polymerase chain re-action,PCR)和反向斑点杂交(reverse dot blot,RDB)技术。结果湖北地区84例疑诊患者共检出44例阳性,其中β-地中海贫血为37例。结论湖北地区也应加强地中海贫血的筛查,以减少地中海贫血患儿的出生。
Objective To prevent the birth of children with thalassemia and reduce birth defects. Methods Gene diagnosis was performed by polymerase chain re-action (PCR) and reverse dot blot (RDB) techniques. Results A total of 44 cases were positive in 84 suspected cases in Hubei Province, among which 37 cases were β-thalassemia. Conclusion The screening of thalassemia should also be strengthened in Hubei to reduce the birth of children with thalassemia.
