OBJECTIVE: To monitor the changes of cardiovascular system in Chinese Antarctic ice sheets with the increase of altitude, and to explore the prevention and treatment of screening for hypoxia-susceptible players and acute altitude sickness. Methods: The non-invasive hemodynamic monitor and 12-lead electrocardiograph were used to evaluate the 25th and 26th Antarctic ice sheets in Beijing (40 m), Lhasa (3 650 m) and Yangbajing (4 300 m) Investigate the pre-selected team members for continuous dynamic monitoring of cardiovascular function. Results: The heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure, peripheral vascular resistance and peripheral vascular resistance index increased significantly with elevation (P <0.05). The cardiac output, cardiac index, stroke volume and stroke volume Index, acceleration index, speed index and left ventricular ejection time were significantly decreased (P <0.05), and pre-ejection period decreased (P> 0.05). CONCLUSION: With the elevation increasing, the peripheral vascular resistance of the preselected team increased significantly, and left ventricular blood flow and systolic function decreased and negatively correlated with Q-TC interval.
