Upper gastrointestinal bleeding is a common disease requiring emergency treatment, with the development of emergency gastroscopy technology, the diagnostic rate and hemostasis rates continue to increase. This article analyzes our hospital from 1989 to 1995 admitted to the upper gastrointestinal bleeding in 20 cases, reported in the next. 1 cases: 15 males and 5 females. Age 30 to 84 years old. Duodenal ulcer bleeding in 6 cases, gastric ulcer bleeding in 7 cases, esophageal varicose hemorrhage in the lower end of a stomach in 7 cases. All have hemorrhagic shock, blood transfusion
