当前,我国农民工市民化存在诸多制度障碍,其中城乡分割的二元户籍制度是关键性制度障碍,由户籍制度衍生出的关系农民工生存和发展的教育制度、住房制度、社会保障制度、就业制度等也都是阻碍农民工市民化的重要制度障碍。只有对相关制度进行改革和创新才能使农民工顺利地市民化,以加快我国城市化进程。
