采收贮藏或远销的南瓜应取老熟果。采收标准为果皮坚硬,显现出固有的色泽,果面布有蜡粉。采收时要保留2厘米～3厘米长果柄。对西洋南瓜类型,要求采收开花后40天～45天的成熟瓜;对于中、晚熟的南瓜品种,要求采收开花后50天～70天的成熟果。
Pumpkin harvest storage or sale should be taken over cooked fruit. Harvest standards for the hard skin, showing the inherent color, fruit cloth with wax. Harvest to retain 2 cm to 3 cm long fruit handle. For western pumpkin types, it is required to harvest ripe melons 40 to 45 days after flowering. For middle and late-maturing pumpkin varieties, ripe fruits of 50 days to 70 days after flowering are required to be harvested.
