The activity coefficient of hydrochloric acid in hydrochloric acid-perchloric acid mixed system has been studied, but the activity coefficient of perchloric acid in this system has not been reported yet. Modern development of ion-selective electrode for electrochemical research provides a convenient, can be used to determine the composition of liquid-free batteries in the past some difficult to determine the activity of the electrolyte solution activity coefficient. We have measured the activity coefficient of perchloric acid in perchloric acid solution by using perchlorate ion-selective electrode and glass electrode without liquid-boundary battery.
