An aqueous ethanol extract (RH-3) was prepared from dried seabuckthorn Hippophae rhamnoides L. fruit. Male inbred Swiss mice were divided into 4 groups: normal control group given vehicle; radiation group, whole body irradiated with 10 Gy γ-ray; reagent (30 mg/kg dissolved in 0.2 mL vehicle) In the group, a single dose was administered 30 min before sham irradiation; in the test group, a single dose of the test drug was administered before irradiation with 10 Gy of gamma rays, and the method and dose were the same as the test drug control group.
