Psychologists have done such an experiment: some seven-year-old children were brought into the laboratory, psychologists give each of them some candy, and then told them: “I want to do one thing, it takes about ten minutes. If you guys can wait until I come back for more food, I’ll give him more candy, and if I eat these candy before I come back, I will not get one. ”The result is naturally a child who can not wait When the scientists returned, they ate the candy in front of them, while the other children waited ten minutes in order to get more candy. Psychologists tracked these children and found that 30 years later, when these children grew up, they suppressed the temptation and most of the children he returned had successful careers. Most of the children who were not awaiting them were mostly mediocre.
