小学英语是学生学习英语知识的开端,做好该阶段的教学工作是每一位小学英语教师义不容辞的责任。而英语字母是学生首先接触的知识点,英语字母教学效果如何不但直接影响着学生接下来的英语单词、句子以及文章等内容的学习,同时还影响着学生的英语交际能力。尤其是英语字母发音不准的学生,更是容易对英语学习产生一种恐惧的心理,这极不利于学生英语水平的提升,由此可见英语字母教学具有极其重要的现实意义。然而受诸多因素所影响,当前小学英语字母教学普遍存在不被重视的情况,这便导致了英语字母教学质量的低下,从而严重地影响了学生今后的英语学习。对此,本文将对小学英语字母教学的重要性进行阐述,并据此探究一些较为有效的英语字母教学策略,以期在促使英语字母教学质量实现提升的前提下,为他们将来的英语学习做好铺垫。
Primary English is the beginning of students’ knowledge of English. It is incumbent on every primary school English teacher to do well in this stage of teaching. The English alphabet is the first point of contact with students. How the teaching of English letters affects not only the students ’subsequent English words, sentences and articles, but also the students’ communicative competence in English. Especially the students who can not pronounce English letters are more likely to have a fear of learning English. This is very detrimental to the improvement of students’ English level. Therefore, the teaching of English letters is of extremely important practical significance. However, influenced by many factors, the current teaching of primary English letters is not valued seriously, which leads to the low quality of teaching English letters, which seriously affects the students’ English learning in the future. In this regard, this article will elaborate on the importance of primary school English letter teaching, and explore some more effective strategies of English letter teaching accordingly, with a view to promote their English learning in the future under the premise of promoting the quality of English letter teaching bedding.
