中央工艺美术学院并入清华大学成立清华大学美术学院已经将近四年时间,对于这一重大举措,人们至今持有不同看法。为此,本刊约请清华大学美术学院陈瑞林教授对这一问题发表看法。陈瑞林教授毕业于中央美术学院,在原中央工艺美术学院任教20余年,对中国两所最有影响的美术院校有着较为深入的了解。陈瑞林教授长期从事中国现代美术史和中国现代艺术设计史的教学和研究,熟悉中国现代美术教育的历史。他在本文中认为:美术教育专业划分过细、过死的状况必须改变,长期形成的“二元对立”的思维方式和行为模式是造成中国美术教育徘徊不前的重要原因;中央工艺美术学院并入清华大学成立清华大学美术学院,迈出了打破“纯美术”与“实用美术”壁垒的重要一步。如何真正实现现代美术教育学科发展,而不是简单的“纯美术”学科与“实用美术”学科相加,是清华大学美术学院面临的重大任务。达一步走得好,并入则是成功的;走得不好,历史将会证明并入是不成功甚至是失败的。本刊希望从这一问题出发,开展关于中国美术教育的讨论,欢迎各位读者赐稿。
It has been nearly four years since the Central Academy of Arts and Design merged with Tsinghua University to establish the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University. So far, people hold different opinions about this important move. To this end, the magazine invited Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts Professor Chen Ruilin express his views on this issue. Professor Chen Ruilin graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and taught at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts for more than 20 years. He has a deep understanding of the two most influential art schools in China. Prof. Chen Ruilin has long been engaged in the teaching and research of the history of Chinese modern art and the history of Chinese modern art design, and is familiar with the history of modern Chinese art education. In this paper, he thinks: the fine arts education profession must be divided into too small and too dead, the situation must be changed. The long-term formation of “dual opposition” thinking and behavior patterns is the main reason for the stagnation of Chinese art education. The Central Arts and Crafts The college merged with Tsinghua University to establish the Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts, taking an important step toward breaking the barriers of “pure art” and “practical art.” How to truly realize the development of modern art education instead of simply adding the subject of “pure art” and “practical art” is a major task facing Tsinghua University’s Academy of Fine Arts. To go one step further, to be successful is to merge; to go well, history will prove that the merger is unsuccessful or even unsuccessful. The publication hopes to start from this issue, carry on the discussion about Chinese art education, welcome everybody to give a contribution.
