The former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR: Supreme Allied Commander Europe) and the American four-star General Wesley Clarke were born in Arkansas in the United States in 1944. At the United States Military Academy at West Point, they received the rank of Shao Shao and were admitted to the Rhodes Scholarship. He studied political science, philosophy and economics at the University of Oxford, England. He won the Silver Star Medal during the Vietnam War and served as an assistant in the White House. In 1994, he served as commander of the Southern Command of the US Armed Forces. In July 1997, he was appointed supreme commander of the NATO European Allied Forces and Commander of the US Forces in Europe, Clarke. He was recently invited to visit China. The reporter of this magazine gave a brief interview to him.
