舞龙舞狮是优秀的民族传统体育项目,在高校中开展龙狮运动这门课程不仅具有深刻的文化传承意义,同时也是深化教学改革、丰富校园文化生活、拓宽学生就业途径、提高民族团结协作精神的内在要求,更是舞龙舞狮运动得以生存和发展的重要途径。文章拟从高校开设舞龙舞狮运动课程的价值入手,分析高校开展舞龙舞狮运动的意义,并结合目前普通高校开展舞龙舞狮运动的现状作综合分析,进一步探讨高校开展舞龙舞狮运动的可行性和必要性,以期为舞龙舞狮运动在更多高校的开展提供理论依据。
