The 12-year-old Muhammad Ali’s bicycle was stolen and the police uncle who helped him with the report was also the boxing coach who convinced him to start boxing. When the announcement of World War II ended, Alfred Eisenstatter photographed a soldier in the Times Square who took over the nurse girl. This picture later became one of Life Magazine’s most famous photos ever published.
