2011年,国内甲醇市场供需齐增,供应略有过剩,甲醇制烯烃、二甲醚、醋酸及甲醛是甲醇下游增长较快的几个行业。在需求和成本的拉动下,甲醇市场价格好于2010年,年均价上涨12%。2012年,由于国内外经济形势不确定因素依然很多,国际原油市场价格仍有上涨的可能,推动液化气价格上升,带动二甲醚需求的增加及价格的上升,加之成本上升,一定程度上将会支撑甲醇价格的上行。但是由于国内甲醇供应过剩,市场价格大幅上涨可能性极小。
