氢离子浓度是保证细胞代谢,尤其是调节酶系统反应的重要因子,常以pH表示(pH=log 1/(H~+))。多年来国内外产科临床工作者采用胎儿头皮血pH值来观察胎儿在宫内的呼吸、循环状态,早期发现与诊断胎儿宫内窘迫以减少围产儿死亡率与发病率取得显著效果。胎儿窘迫是缺氧引起的以眙儿、胎盘的呼吸、循环功能障碍为主的综合征,产生酸中毒等一系列病理状态。当眙儿缺氧时需氧性能量代谢受到抑制,无氧糖酵解增强,结果使乳酸等有机酸产物蓄积产生了代谢性酸中毒。正常情况下生成的乳酸通过缓冲系统
