红楼中医方剂名称在译成英语时难以找到对应语,存在词汇空缺现象,其翻译原则是“等效翻译”和简洁。本文采取回译的办法比较分析杨译、霍译和乔译的18个中医方剂名称的译名,探讨中医方剂名称的翻译方法。
It is hard to find the counterpart in the name of Chinese recipe of the Red Mansion, and there is a vacancy in the vocabulary. The principle of translation is “equivalent translation” and conciseness. This article adopts the method of backtracking to compare and analyze the translations of the names of 18 TCM prescriptions in Yang, Huo Yi and Qiao and discuss the translation methods of TCM prescriptions.
