中国菜名的构成比较复杂,不同于西方国家,西方国家的菜名基本只具备信息传递的功能,而中国有很多菜名不同与此,例如有些菜名充满艺术魅力和文化内涵,这些菜名反映了中国人向往美好生活、渴望万事如意的心理。还有一些菜名为了激发顾客的审美情趣,根据菜式的颜色、形状赋予其典雅含蓄、悦耳动听的名字,这种菜名让人们在品尝食物的同时也能在心理得到极大地满足。所以要解决中国菜名英译过程中存在的问题,译者不但要从宏观上培养语言能力,扩充文化知识,采取恰当方法,更要从微观上了解中国菜名的构成和特征。

Therefore, to solve the problems in the process of English translation of Chinese dishes, the translator must not only cultivate language skills, expand cultural knowledge, adopt appropriate methods, but also understand the composition and characteristics of Chinese dish names from a microscopic perspective.
