“家有万贯,不如钧瓷一片。”作为中国传统五大名窑当中产量最大的品种,这句谚语是建立在钧瓷非常稀有的基础上的。如今,河南禹州作为钧瓷的故乡,钧瓷产业已经成为河南省的一张“文化名片”和重要产业,2008年年产值接近10亿元。钧瓷是我国宋代五大名窑瓷器之一,以独特的窑变艺术而著称于世。
