检察长列席同级人民法院审判委员会会议是我国宪法和法律赋予检察机关的监督职权,也是深化审判监督职能的有效途径之一。该项制度的实施,对于拓展人民检察院实施法律监督权,促进人民法院公正审判都会起到不可替代的作用。
The attendance of procurators at the trial committees of people’s courts at the same level is the supervisory authority conferred on procuratorial organs by our country’s Constitution and laws and is also one of the effective ways to deepen the function of trial supervision. The implementation of this system will play an irreplaceable role in expanding the people’s procuratorate’s power to supervise the law and in promoting a fair trial in the people’s court.
