The purpose of this retrospective analysis was to evaluate the effect of different treatment modalities on the visual acuity and survival rate of orbital sinus cancer after surgery. Eighty-seven patients were randomized to different treatment modalities, and the visual function preservation rate and survival rate of each treatment group were evaluated. The 5-year survival rates of the resection group, traditional surgery group, superselective arterial intubation chemotherapy group, radiotherapy group and radiotherapy and chemotherapy group were 70%, 35%, 49% and 31%, respectively. The visual preservation rates were 15 %, 27%, 30% and 17%. There was no significant difference in 5-year survival between those with or without orbital debridement in the resection group (72% vs. 71%, P = 0.9321). The author believes that the whole piece cut
