阐述了应用卫星热红外影异常进行地震短临预报的显著效果,并探讨了热红外异常发生的机制,准确的地震预报,尤其是短临陆预报是减轻地震灾害的重要前提。地震的发生是有各种前兆的,但识别震兆一直是地震预报中的一个关键性的难题。应用卫星热红外异常影象判别技术,可以在定观尺度上快速捕捉震前热红外异常信息,更重要的是震前热红外异常与地震的发生之间有良好的对应关系。这是各种传统的和现代其他预报方法难以相比的。应用这一高科技手段,较好地预测了我国和相邻国家(地区)的一些中强地震,并取得了一定经验
The significant effect of applying satellite thermal infrared anomaly to short-term earthquake prediction is expounded, and the mechanism of thermal infrared anomalies is discussed. Accurate earthquake prediction, especially short-term land-based forecast, is an important prerequisite for earthquake disaster mitigation. The occurrence of earthquakes has various precursors, but the identification of earthquakes has always been a key problem in earthquake prediction. The application of satellite thermal infrared anomaly image discrimination technique can rapidly capture the thermal anomaly information before the earthquake on the fixed scale. More importantly, there is a good correspondence between the thermal anomalies before the earthquake and the occurrence of earthquakes. This is difficult to compare with other traditional and modern methods of forecasting. Using this high-tech means, we have been able to predict some moderate-strong earthquakes in our country and neighboring countries (regions) and have obtained some experience
