杜健同志在《对〈“新潮美术”论纲〉的意见》一文中论断:“‘新潮美术’其实就是中国的现代派美术,它是从西方现代派移植过来的”,“八十年代中国新潮美术的出现,是一种不可避免的历史现象”。杜健同志提出的这个论断,牵涉到中国美术的发展方向,笔者不敢苟同,特撰文商榷。
