学困生,顾名思义即是学习困难的学生,数学学困生即是指对数学学习有困难的学生,也就是其学习成绩在所在的班级中处于中等以下。他们的智力本身并没有障碍,可能由于心理原因、后期教育行为、环境等多种综合因素造成数学知识出现断层,数学思维能力欠缺等,对数学学习感到困难,计算能力较低,准确率不高,久而久之造成对数学学习缺乏兴趣,上课无法集中注意力等,从而造成学习成绩下降,明显低于同年级其他的学生。《新课程标准》提出,要关注每个学生的个体差异,使每个学生都可以获取成功的学习体验,得到相应的发展。因此,关注数学学困生,带领他们走出数学学习的困境,成为每个老师工作的重点。
