戴元本生于1928年7月,湖南常德人。1952年由南京大学物理系毕业后,在南京工学院任助教,后升为讲师。1958～1961年又去读研究生,继续深造。在张家燧指导下,从事弱相互作用及双重色散关系理论的研究。他首先计算了弱作用对电子反常磁矩的影响,改正了一个苏联学者的错误。1963～1965年,他先后写了七篇论文,指出雷其理论中所要求的雷其渐近行为在一些高奇异性的位阱散射情况下并不会出现。这就揭示了雷其理论的局限性。这项工作在1964年北京科学讨论会上报告,坂田昌一评论说:“这是雄心勃勃的研究”。
Dai Yuan Born in July 1928, Changde, Hunan. After graduating from the Physics Department of Nanjing University in 1952, he worked as a teaching assistant at Nanjing Institute of Technology and later became a lecturer. 1958 ~ 1961 went to graduate school, continue to study. Under the guidance of Zhang Jia Sui, engaged in the study of the weak interaction and the relationship between the dual dispersion. He first calculated the effect of weak effects on the magnetic anomalous magnetic moment and corrected a Soviet scholar’s mistake. From 1963 to 1965, he wrote seven essays in succession, pointing out that the asymptotic behavior of Ray required in Ray’s theory does not occur under some highly singular trap scattering. This reveals the limitations of Ray’s theory. This work was reported at the 1964 Beijing Science Symposium. Sakata Chang commented: “This is an ambitious study.”
