电视剧《叶挺将军》里皖南事变几集中,提到一个很重要的人物“小姚”。“小姚”是谁?他原来就是东南分局副书记饶漱石。当时,出于工作保密的需要,再加上饶、姚谐音,大家平时称他“小姚”。就是毛泽东发给东南局的电报也称他“小姚”。饶漱石于1925年加入中国共产党,1936年被派到美国工作。抗日战争爆发后,饶漱石要求回国参加抗日救国斗争,被中共中央派到皖南任东南分局副书记,协助东南分局书记项英丁作。
