In this article, a retrospective analysis of the histopathology and HP (Helicobacter pylori) infection in 6627 patients who underwent gastroscopy in our hospital for upper gastrointestinal symptoms was conducted to investigate the relationship between HP infection and gastric dysplasia. Materials and Methods Patients who underwent gastroscopy in our hospital from March 1991 to November 1997 had the exception of having received anti-HP treatment, gastric malignancy, and post-operative stomach cases.
