双眼同侧同名偏盲，在视野检查病例中，并非少见，而双眼两侧同名偏盲则十分少见。文献报导中多指出双眼两侧同名偏盲，多为枕叶阻塞性血管病变所致，在尸检中常发现有椎动脉或基底动脉血栓形成。本文报导的４例中，有１例为脑豚囊虫多发灶，另一例为车祸后颅内多发性血肿，均属罕见。本文强调剖析并审阅视野图的重要性，粗略审阅视野图时，图形很令人费解，如果将左右半分开来剖析，则可见两眼左、右侧的视野缺损，分别为近似可重的同名偏盲
