我厂金工车间,每天需大量的刀具。以前刀头焊接是靠外单位加工,用氧气焊接的。每把刀加工费需0.4元,同时耗铜量较大,加上氧气供应有困难,所以经常因刀具脱节影响生产。金工车间机修组的同志,遵照毛主席“独立自主、自力更生”的伟大教导,发扬了不怕疲劳和连续作战的作风,学习兄弟厂的先进经验,在短时间内大胆革新制成了刀头焊接机（图1）,这种焊接机有如下特点:
