Bulgaria’s exports to third-party countries outside the EU increased in the first half of 2011 According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of Bulgaria, from January to June 2011, Bulgaria’s exports to third-party countries other than the EU increased by 35.5% over the same period of last year. In the first half of 2011, Bulgaria’s exports to third-country countries amounted to 7.2 billion levies (1 U.S. dollar to 1.37 levies). Outside the EU, Bulgaria’s main trading partners are Turkey, Serbia, Russia, Macedonia, China and the United States, and their exports to these countries account for 51.2% of their total exports to third-country countries.
