2013年5月22日,海峡两岸生物多样性保护图片展暨第六届“中国生物多样性保护与利用”数码摄影赛优秀作品展在北京和台北两地同时开展。此次展览由台湾自然生态保育协会、台湾特有生物研究保育中心以及中国生物多样性保护与绿色发展基金会绿色之源专项基金管理委员会共同举办。展览以保护物种图片为主,展示了生态中国的生物多样性。每年5月22日,联合国生物多样性秘书处都在世界各地举办纪念世界生物多样性日活动。中国是生物多样性公约履约国之一,
On May 22, 2013, the Cross-Strait Biodiversity Conservation Photo Exhibition and the 6th “Digital Photo Contest for Conservation and Utilization of Biodiversity in China” were held concurrently in Beijing and Taipei. The exhibition was jointly organized by the Taiwan Eco-Conservation Association, Taiwan’s Center for Specially Generated Biological Research and Conservation, and the Green Resources Special Fund Management Committee of China’s Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation. The exhibition mainly focuses on the pictures of species conservation, demonstrating the ecological diversity of China. On May 22 each year, the United Nations Secretariat for Biodiversity hosts activities to commemorate World Biodiversity Day around the world. China is one of the countries that have ratified the Convention on Biological Diversity.
