This article discusses in detail the stages and methods of controlling project cost. Analyze some of the general problems and causes that exist in the construction of the project, and propose corresponding solutions. It is pointed out that the design phase is the key stage to control the project cost. The method of controlling the project cost in the design stage is to implement the design bidding and quota design; at the same time, the good settlement review must be closed.
