我年轻时曾在冰城的一家万人大厂当过工人。那激情的岁月、火红的年代至今都让我难以忘怀。这种难以割舍的工厂情结始终在心底萌动,幻想着如果有机会和时间,一定要拍点工业题材的片子。2008年一次偶然的机会,我来到了目前世界最大的铸锻钢制造基地—中国第一重型机械集团。这次身临其境所带来的视觉冲击和心灵震撼,触动了我对中国大工业强烈探求的意识。
When I was a young man I worked as a worker in a giant factory in Ice City. That time of passion, fiery years have let me unforgettable. This hard-to-break factory complex has always been in my heart budding, imagining that if you have the opportunity and time, be sure to make a film industrial theme film. In 2008 a chance, I came to the world’s largest foundry forging steel manufacturing base - China’s first heavy machinery group. The visual impact and spiritual shock brought by the immersion have touched my awareness of the intense exploration of China’s big industry.
